I have a Dahua NVR5215-16P-4KS2E that has been working flawless since 2018. I have a monitor hooked up by HDMI with several 9 cameras in the split screens. I happened just to click into one of the cameras and then clicked back out to view all the screens again, and not it says "decode not enable".Do not connect the device to more than one power supply. Otherwise, the device might become damaged. To prevent explosion, replace the battery with the correct model and dispose of the unwanted one as instructed. Do not expose the battery to environments where it can easily overheat such as with direct sunlight and fire. If you are not using the web UI to configure your device, please refer to the user manual for your product. Summary: IP conflicts can arise in an NVR for multiple reasons, on the network designated in the NVR as "Network 1" this can happen if "Network 1" has an IP that is the same IP as one of the devices on "Network 1."

However in the last 1/2 hr, found a most annoying issue, my new Dahua player is not recording motion, even when set, I just see 24/7 recording, no yellow bits etc to show when motion was, that's with the Dahua and Hikvision cameras, only cameras purely set to motion only are showing the motion bits. Once the top cover has been removed it will expose the hard drive and its connections. Unplug the large black connector. Press down on the metal tab and pull the connector out of the hard drive. .
